The American Association is now recruiting a new board for 16/17!

The American Association aims to integrate Swedish and American culture within SASSE. As a member of the board you get to arrange various events related to american culture such as Thanksgiving and Election Nights connected to the President election this fall. You also work closely with the American Embassy in Stockholm.
The American Association runs The Buddy Program which is a network consisting of SSE students and American students from the private exchange program The Swedish Program.

The positions available are:

President of The American Association
    •    As the president, you are responsible for maintaining all the contacts and making sure that the organization develops to it’s potential. You are innovative. organized and have a big interest for american culture.

Head of Events
    •    As head of events you are responsible for the Thanksgiving party, for arranging inspiring lectures and arranging beerpong-nights. You are structured and have an eye for detail.

Head of The Buddy Program
    •    You are responsible for all the Swedish Program students that wants to get involved in SASSE and you are also the one who matches the buddy-couples. This requires someone with great people skills and who wants to enlighten the American students stay in Sweden.
