Q: What is the difference between SASSE and SSE?
A: SASSE is the Student Association at the Stockholm School of Economics, an independent organization from SSE that represents the students’ interests in different matters towards SSE and exists to look after the joint interests of SSE-students.
Q: Who is responsible for SASSE’s decision-making?
A: The Student Council (25 members elected) is the strategic organ which states the visions and goals for the association and overall, larger, decisions when it comes to the direction of SASSE’s activities.
Q: Who is responsible for the operational and daily activities?
A: The SASSE Board is the operative organ with the overall responsibility of the activities, and under the Board lie 8 committees with different operational areas.

Q: Which policies do I need to be familiar with?
A: It depends on the role you have, but the financial regulations, communication guidelines and company policy are the most frequently used.

Q: What kind of value does SASSE offer me as a member?
A: SASSE works within three main areas: educational matters, career services and social activities
Q: Who are organizing all of the events?
A: Most often, the committees or projects under committees arrange events available for the students at SSE.

A: In the printed ATT-guide in the SASSE premises or the SASSE-portal event calendar.
How to engage:
Q: How do I get engaged in existing activities?
A: You contact the responsible Committee President for the activity and ask. You can find all the contact information under the tab named "Committees" above.
Q: How do I start a new project or initiative?
A: You get in touch with the Vice President and you will be helped with how to initiate the project.
Q: How much time is consumed from being involved in SASSE?
A: It entirely depends on your ambitions. There are projects ranging from one-year long commitments to occasional smaller events.
