Study Scholarships for Students in the Bachelor and Master programs

The Stockholm School of Economics hereby announces study scholarships of each SEK 5,000 for the Academic Year 2010–2011 from the following funds:

CF Liljevalch J:r studiestipendium, Svenska Fondhandlarföreningens stipendium, Alfred Lagerheims stipendium, C Janssons studiestipendium, Th Frölanders stipendium, G O Örns belönings- och understödsfond, H Asplunds stipendium, Iwar Sjögrens stipendiefond

Eligibility

Students in the following study programs admitted in 2009 or earlier are eligible to apply:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics at Stockholm
  • Bachelor of Science in Retail Management
  • Master of Science in Business and Economics
  • Master of Science in Economics and Business
  • Master of Science in General Management

During the academic year of 2010–2011 the applicant must study full time at the Stockholm School of Economics in Stockholm or Norrtälje.

Participants in exchange programs during the academic year of 2010–2011 are not eligible for the scholarship.

Criteria for the Ranking of Applicants

Students in the Bachelor programs are ranked by their grades and by their total number of course credits achieved in the respective Bachelor program. Course credits or grades from other educations/universities do not count in the ranking.

Students in the Master programs are ranked by their grades and by their total number of course credits achieved only in the respective Master program. Course credits or grades from a Bachelor program or from other educations/universities do not count in the ranking.

Application

September 17, 2010, is deadline for application. Applications shall be made on a special form provided by the Student Association. The applicants will be informed about the decisions in November.

Compulsory Enclosure

A Transcript of Academic Record shall be enclosed to the application otherwise the application will not be handled.
