Economics Association presents Magnus Henrekson

Please feel invited to join this year's first EA Lunch Lecture with Magnus Henrekson, director of the Institutet för Näringslivforskning (IFN), a Swedish research institute for Industrial Economics. The lecture will take place Wednesday 2nd March 12:15-13:15 in room Ragnar. Magnus’ lecture will be about stock options and innovative entrepreneurship in relation to a recently published study (link below). Moreover, he will speak about his career as economist, his time as professor at SSE, and give an introduction to the work of IFN. There will also be room for questions from your side. Please sign up for the event. Lunch will be served for the first 40 students to sign up, however, more participants to the lecture are welcome! This talk is organised through SASSE’s Economic Association (EA) in collaboration with the Education Committee.

More detail on the speaker: Since 2005, Magnus is director of the Industrial Economics research institute IFN. His research interests range from entrepreneurship, economic growth, and public choice to structural change. He has previously worked in various positions in both private industry and the public sector and was Jacob Wallenberg Professor of Economics at SSE from 2001 to 2009.
