The IT Committee has moved sasse.se to a new server in Amsterdam. The new server quadruples our capacity, allows us to handle performance peaks better and provides much greater flexibility.

The IT Committee has moved sasse.se from a shared hosting solution to a virtual private server with much better performance and flexibility. We are now in full control of our hosting environment.

We can develop web based projects using a wider array of technologies, offer better access for our subdomains and, if need be, purchase more performance for on an as-needed basis. This is good.
