Recruitment of project group – Common Values of SASSE

– one of the most important, long term projects ever in SASSE! Would you like to be part of an historical project, which will have effects many years from now? Would you like to learn how to develop an organization’s values?

SASSE is, compared to its peers, a large and well organized Student Association in many ways. However, it has recently been more clear than ever that there is a need for a better defined guidance on what kind of organization we are and what values we share.

At present, we mainly have the purpose stated in the first paragraph of our statutes:

“SASSE shall be a non-religious and politically neutral organization. Its task is to promote good camaraderie between students at SSE and see to their mutual interests”

This is a very broad statement and for both the SASSE Council & the SASSE Board, as well as for all members, it gives little guidance on what activities should be like.
The task of this project is to establish what values SASSE should adhere to in a comprehensive way – and then implement that throughout the organization.

This is lead by Tove Forsbacka Karlsson and Erik Schuss from the Board of Directors, after a decision in the SASSE Council. We are now looking for three group members to help us in creating one of the most important documents for the guidance of SASSE’s operations and strategy.

We are looking for diversity and preferably students from all programs and years, so do not hesitate to apply! You can do so on Campus Competence – it takes just a few minutes:
