Introduction to Austrian Economics

Have you ever wondered why booms and busts seem to recur ever so often in our economy? Why the measures taken to counteract recessions seem to have questionable efficacy? Or maybe you’re not that interested but would just like to sit back and enjoy an afternoon coffee and snack?

Either way we are very pleased to welcome you to a series of three introductory lectures to Austrian Economics, a lecture series that will offer you a completely different economic perspective. The lectures will be held in English by Mr. Klaus Bernpaintner, Senior Fellow at the Swedish Mises Institute, on the 2nd to 4th of May 15:00-17:00 and three themes will be covered:

  1. Real World Economics
  2. Banking and the Business Cycle
  3. Austrian Economics

Registration is free and individual to each lecture, though it is recommended to attend all three of them if possible. Welcome!
