Handelsdagarna is now recruiting the Project group of 2013, and whether you are interested in Corporate Relations, Marketing, Information or Events, there is surely a place for you among us.

Available positions: Fair host (x2), Head of technology, Head of company lunch, Head of company lounge, Head of student lounge, Head of functionary lounge, Head of decor (fair), Head of decor(banquet), sponsorship assistant (x4), Head of interview sessions (x2), Head of information desk, Copywriter (editor), Copywriter(photographer), Design and  layout, webmaster, Head of banquet (x2), Head of pub (x2), Head of internal festivities, Lecture assistant, Head of functionaries, Head of logistics.

Description of the different positions:   

Fair host (x2):As a Fair host you will be involved both in the planning of the fair and making sure that everything runs smoothly during the fair. Much of your work will be concentrated around the fair, but there will also be some planning to do in advance.

Head of technology: As Head of technology you will be responsible of planning, assembling and maintaining the technical equipment that will be needed during the fair. The work may involve installing TV-monitors, setting up a WIFI-network etc. We would like you to have experience from earlier work of this kind.

Head of company lunch: As Head of company lunch it will be your responsibility to sett upp a schedule for the lunch hosts and to manage the contact with the catering firm regarding the lunch. 

Head of company lounge:As Head of company lounge you will get to create an oasis in the otherwise stressfull and sometimes hectic environment for the company representatives. Here they will be given chance for a pause before they return to the fair.

Head of student lounge: The students will come here to take a break from the fair. As Head of student lounge it will be your responsibility to create a place enabling both relaxation and entertainment.

Head of functionary lounge: The functionary lounge will be a gathering point for everyone working with the project. Breakfast meeting, lunch and snacks will be held here and it will be your responsibility to organize the lounge and making it capable of  this.

Head of decor (fair): This year Handelsdagarna celebrates 30 years as a fair and it will be up to the Head of decor (fair) to make this apparent throughout the fair.

Head of decor (banquet): As Head of decor (banquet) you are responsible of all decoration during the banquet and afterparty. Since this requires continuous work with the others in the project group (mainly Head of banquet and Head of pub), it is recommended that you are flexible, like to work in group and creative. 

Sponsorship assistant(x4): As sponsorship assistant you’re going to work in a group as well as independently contacting companies about sponsorship of products or services for Handelsdagarna. This could be everything from beverages and snacks to massage stools and furniture. 

Head of interview sessions(x2): As Head of interview sessions you will be responsible for the interview sessions that companies are offered to hold with applying students. These two persons will handle the applications and organize and set the schedule for the interviews.

Head of information desk: The Head of information desk shape the visitors’ first impression of Handelsdagarna, inform about the fair and answer visitors’ and representatives’ questions. It is important that you are service minded and well structured.

Copywriter (editor & photographer): We are looking for two Copywriters with the main responsibility of marketing Handelsdagarna through texts and interviews on the website and in the catalogue as well as attractive posters and other printed information. Furthermore you will each have a more specific role: editor and photographer.

As editor your will have the principal responsibility of published texts regarding Handelsdagarna; both on the website, in the catalogue and in other printed media.

As photographer you will be responsible for documenting Handelsdagarna from its beginning to the last banquet. Your job also entails editing the material that is collected.

Design and layout: As Head of design and layout you will monitor and optimize all publishing, making sure they coincide with our graphical profile. You will also be responsible for the layout, content, order and delivery of the catalogue. In this position you will work together with the whole communications group.

Webmaster: As Webmaster you will be responsible for the layout presented on our webpage. You will work closely together with Art Director and the graphical profile presented at Handelsdagarna.se. This post requires a creative personality and preferbely earlier experiences with Wordpress.  

Head of banquet (x2): As Head of Banquet, you will, together with your partner, be responsible for the creation and planning of the most awesome and sought-after banquet yet. We’re looking for two persons who have the desire and enthusiasm to create the best sound and light effects, accompanied with great entertainment and interior design. It is strongly recommended that you can handle stress and work in groups. 

Head of pub (x2): As Head of pub you combine the best music and coolest light effects, while the stocked bars offer refreshments, to create the amazing afterparty in the Rotunda and Pub. Either you are responsible of the sound, light and other technical aspects or you make sure the bars are filled with the coolest beer types and the most exquisite drinks. Also, you are responsible for the entrance. 

Head of internal festivites: As responsible for the kickoff you are going to organize the kickoff for everybody working with Handelsdagarna 2012. You should be responsible and able to work good in a team.

Lecture assistant: As Lecture assistant you will be part of the process of attracting prominent personalities from Swedish business to lecture at SSE.

Head of functionaries: As the head of functionaries you are responsible for the recruitment, scheduling and communication with the 100 functionaries. We are looking for an organized, structured and socially competent individual. We especially welcome applications from second-year students.

Head of Logistics: As head of logistics your task is to plan and monitor the logistics and to make sure every delivery goes to the right place at the right time. We are looking for a structured individual with leadership abilities who works well under pressure.
