Handelsdagarna "Green Capitalism"

Klas Eklund is the Senior Economist of SEB, adjunct Professor of Economics at Lund University and a member of the Government's "Commission for the Future". Previously, he has worked in the Swedish Ministry of Finance and the Prime Minister's office, and he has been an adviser to the European Commission. Klas has also published several books, including the best-selling economics text book in Sweden, a book on climate economics, a biography of former PM Olof Palme - and a financial thriller about murder and insider trading in the Minstry of Finance, later made into a TV series.

Klas will speak about the need to make capitalism greener; how to use economic tools and incentives to increase energy efficiency and affect the behaviour of consumers and producers.
